The firm was established in 1927, when Louis A. Hellerstein began representing financial institutions and became deeply involved with the first laws regulating commercial and consumer loans in Colorado.  Today, the firm’s practice places an emphasis on all aspects of business, commercial and financial institution law, including banking and financial institution regulatory law, banking, general corporate law, litigation, mortgage lending, consumer credit compliance, creditor’s rights, foreclosures, commercial credit transactions, bankruptcy and real estate.
